Chris Martin and the rest of his buddys from Coldplay might be carrying a little less money in their pockets when they come to Australia in February. News just in is that guitar master Joe Satriani is suing Coldplay for plagiarism.
According to Billboard News, Satriani filed his copyright infringement suit in Los Angeles federal court last week. He’s claiming the band’s song 'Viva La Vida' lifts “substantial original portions” of his own track 'If I Could Fly'. The lawsuits seeks damages and any profits relating to the assumed infringement. The difference is Joe 'probably needs some cash' Satriani is taking it one step further or too far some might say.

Rusko is coming down! Everyone from Santogold to Diplo have been talking this guy up recently and he'll be bringing his cockney dub sounds to the Laneway come March time.
The local line-up has also gotten much better with the inclusion of Autralia’s own hypnotic rock n rollers Augie March. Yves Klein and Dappled Cities Fly will also be blowing ur laneway socks off too.

Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello recently spoke to Billboard and said there are “no plans” to record a new album with the band.
RATM fans have been desperate to see a new album ever since 'Renegades' in 2000. Even more so since the band reformed last year following a seven-year break to go on a worldwide tour.
But Morello said he was to busy with his Nightwatchman project to record again with the group.
"There are no plans for that. We've had a wonderful year and a half of playing shows, and I don't see any reason to not play more shows,” he told Billboard. As for other members of RATM and their whereabouts, well all we knows is that Zach de la Rocha recently got together with Jon Theodore (Mars Volta drummer) to produce an EP under the name of 'One Day as a Lion'. UK indie rockers Razorlight are finally making an appearance in Australia for the first time come January.
Razorlight released their third studio album, 'Slipway Fires', on November 3rd and the lead single from it is, 'Wire To Wire'. We here at Music Universe have been naughty and not listened to the album yet so we can't comment. Although, we have heard the first single..........umm...........we miss their early stuff. We did love their first one 'Up All Night', but thought their sophmore effort 'Razorlight' was a little weak. NME gave their latest album a 4/10, which suggests that these guys could be on the downward slide.
Nevertheless AND however, they are still worth seeing just for their older mateiral.
Razorlight play two special shows in summer. Tickets go on sale Thursday 11 December.
