The Last Shadow Puppets tour US/Europe

After previously stating they would not tour this band live and having just wowed Glastonbury with a special appearance from Jack White, The Last Shadow Puppets – aka Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys and Miles Kane of the Rascals – are keen to keep touring. They’ve locked in a string of shows in Europe and America, and they’re not thinking small.

The duo is bringing a 16-piece orchestra along for the ride, which should be just enough musician-power to recreate the epic scope of debut album 'The Age Of Understatement'. Also lending a hand onstage will be Simian Mobile Disco man James Ford, who brought his production smarts to the record.

Despite the rise and rise of The Last Shadow Puppets, all is well in the Monkeys camp. According to guitarist James Cook, the Sheffield foursome has plans to return to the studio for album number three.
