The Falls Music & Arts Festival have just announced the line-up for the 29th December – the first night of musical madness for the three day festival which takes place over New Years Eve in Victoria and Tasmania.
Kicking off festivities in Lorne will be the ultra buzz-worthy indie darlings of 2008 – The Fleet Foxes who will be deliciously complimented by the band that makes ‘festival moments’ happen – Augie March.
Also storming into town will be the UK’s biggest trouble makers ,The Cribs and new age synth nutters, Late Of The Pier. Finishing off the superb first night will be Aussie gems Rocket Science, British India, Ash Grunwald and 9 -piece Latin hip-hop troupe Labjacd.
The Taswegians will also be treated to something special – The Falls Funk’n’Soul Revue . This promises to be an afternoon and evening of this country’s finest funk, soul, bossa-nova & boogaloo from the very best specialist DJ’s this country has to offer.
