Coldplay can't stop making music

In a bid to make trade even fairer, French romantic military men Coldplay will package up all the off-cuts from their 'Viva La Vida' sessions on a new EP.

Speaking on BBC 6 Music, frontman Chris Martin confirmed the band wrote more songs with Brian Eno than could be accommodated on one album. The EP, due out in true blockbuster style on 26 December, is likely to called either 'Prospects March' or 'Prospects Songs'. It may even include 'Luna', that intriguing collaboration with Kylie Minogue.

And just because they’re on a roll, Coldplay is “gonna have another record ready by November 2009 to end the decade.”

Sounds ominous and just fantastic.
