The blissful Quebec outfit - Stars - will be touring Australia early in 2009.
Sadly, the band will only be making stops in Brisbane and Sydney.
Stars will be in town promoting their latest EP, a digital-only release entitled 'Sad Robots', which is only available from http://www.sadrobots.ca/. The EP features an all-new live version of 'Going, Going, Gone' which originally featured on the band's debut album, 'Nightsongs'. Stars members Torquil Campbell, Amy Millan and Evan Cranley make guest appearances in Broken Social Scene. Bands like Stars, BSS and Arcace Fire have propagated the rise of indie pop and the quintessential "Canadian" sound. Stars' dates down under are:

Tickets go on sale Friday September 19.
