After announcement one, questions were raised about whether this years V Festival line-up was solid or not, well we think this new injection of acts should shut those critics up. In past years we’ve had old schoolers The Pixies, Pet Shop Boys and Jesus and Mary Chain named, well look which grandfather of ska is coming this year.
Leading the second round are the ska godfathers Madness and synth-pop trendsetters The Human League, who’ll be performing their 1981 album 'Dare' in its entirety. As predicted earlier, The Kills have also joined the line-up. M83 have also been announced and will definitely be a highlight of the festival. Jenny Lewis will be there, as well as a few locals including the bloody fantastic Jackson Jackson, Howling Bells, Wolf & Cub and Children Collide.
