Kasabian to release 'The West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum' on June 8th

The serious alt-rockers Kasabian are set to release their third album on June 8th.

Titled 'The West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum', the album features a cameo appearance by actress Rosario Dawson (Sin City) on the song 'West Riding Silver Bullet'.

Kasabian have such a strong following that even the likes of Jay-Z and Kanye have spoken of their desire to work with the band in the future.

The album has been produced by guitarist Serge Pizzorno and Gorillaz collaborator Dan The Automator. To hear their first single off the album 'Vlad The Impaler', fans will be able to download the song from March 31st to midnight April 3rd via the band's official website.

The official first single off the album 'Fire' will be released commercially on June 1st.
