Sigur Ros are giving away the track 'Gobbledigook' at their official website.
The song is the first offering from the forthcoming album 'Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust' (English translation: 'With a buzz in our ears we play endlessly'). The album will be released worldwide on June 23rd, or can be purchased on pre-order from June 2nd.
The album, that will become known as "With A Buzz', was produced by Flood and recorded at Sear Sound in New York, Assault, Battery studios and Abbey Road in London and the band's own studio, Alafoss in Reykjavik. Parts were also put down in Havana, Cuba.
It is their first album ever to be recorded outside of Iceland. Composing of one track is in english, one with no lyrics and the rest in icelandic, 'Með suð' contains some of the most joyous music the band has ever recorded.
