The Polyphonic Spree are bringing their one-of-a-kind live experience to Splendour In The Grass. They’ve also scheduled some sideshows too.
The many members of the Spree will be crowding onto intimate stages to present songs from their three remarkable records. Their most recent album was released in late 2007, 'The Fragile Army' introduced extra shades to the collective’s psychedelic ‘symphonic pop’ sound. The hope and exuberance is now cut through by more ominous themes. Shedding their white robes for an austere military-style uniform, the Spree has entered a new phase; however the playfulness and musical daring is still very much there. When they take to the stage it’s something to behold.
