Hot Barbeque merges with Summadayze

Future Entertainment has just announced that New Years Day event, The Hot Barbeque, will move to neighbouring event, Summadayze, hosted at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne.

A scaled down Hot BBQ will utilize a large fence line extension area at the venue - offering 2 new stages to the Summadayze festival.

Future Entertainment has said that the current economic climate has hit people hard and rather than push two events on the same day this year, it's in everyone's best interest to consolidate.

The addition of this area is great news for Summadayze ticket holders who will get access to additional stages and another 8 international DJ's at no extra cost. Added to Summerdayze will be Boys Noize, Busy P, Carl Craig, DJ Mehdi, Radioslave, Oliver Huntermann, Steve Aoki and more. Hot BBQ ticket holders will also benefit by getting access to the previously sold out event with an amazing line up.

Hot BBQ ticket holders will have the option of a full refund or an upgraded ticket to Summadayze. This ticket upgrade also includes a VIP pass. It will cost BBQ ticket holders an additional $50 to upgrade and has to be done by 6pm Wednesday December 17th. All can be arranged through ticketmaster.

Let's hope that Mos Def still appears (we doubt it though). DJ Nu Mark (Jurassic 5), The Galvatrons and The Herd are some of the other notable names that might not make the cut for Summadayze. Shame.

Nevertheless, Hot Barbeque ticket holders can now see Underworld, Armin Van Buuren, Eric Prydz, Calvin Harris, Digitalism and Adam Freeland to name a few. Sweet.
