If you were a lucky SOB to secure tickets to Kings of Leon for their forthcoming tour, well you’re in for one special night. Why you ask? Frontier Touring is pleased to confirm that Canadian band The Stills will support Kings of Leon at all shows on their March tour.
The Stills will tour in support of their critically acclaimed album 'Oceans Will Rise'. The Stills are signed to the same label which is also the home to Broken Social Scene, Feist and Phoenix to name a few. They have also been compared to the likes of Interpol, And You Will Knows Us By The Trail Of Dead and British Sea Power.
'Oceans Will Rise', The Stills’ third record, has been hailed by some as their finest work to date. Blender magazine were thrilled with the offering, announcing, “ It's done two good things for the Stills: sharpened their songwriting and returned them… to the crystalline guitar minimalism of their debut.” We at Music Universe still feel that their debut album 'Logic Will Break Your Heart' was their best work and will remain etched in our minds for a long long time.
It's their first visit to Australia and New Zealand, so head along early to the shows and welcome them with open arms.
Tour dates are:
Sunday 8 March: Rock-It No. 10, Perth
