Here at Music Universe we have a passion for art. It ain't Picasso, Van Gogh or Pro Hart though. It's Rock Art. We have such a collection that we've run out of wallspace and are considering moving offices just so we can hang up all our pieces.
Anyway, for those that are based in Melbourne, Australia, there's a gallery that puts on an exhibition for Rock Art every now and then. Rock Prints returns to 374 Gallery this Christmas with a selection of new and exciting rare and limited prints available to view and purchase.
Featuring a huge collection of prints from avid collectors, archivists, artists and music lovers, from one-off signed prints to pole posters and festival shows, the collection is a snapshot of popular culture & its influence on modern art.
All items on exhibition will be available for sale so this is your chance to purchase the perfect Christmas gift for those "hard to shop for" people. Most prints will be available framed and blockmounted and there are many posters available at ridiculously low prices. Prints include Arctic Monkeys, AC/DC, Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Ben Harper, Rolling Stones, Elvis Costello, The Beastive Boys and so many more.
Many items of the collection have rarely been seen since their creation and have stored away from the general public for decades, 'Rock Prints' will take you on a journey from the 1960's Psychedelia to the emergence of Punk in the late 70's through to contemporary artists of today, highlighting the work of leading artists who fused their visual talents with the musical vision of the era's influential bands to create some of the most enduring pop culture images of our times.
