There's something about the word 'yeah' today. Earlier we posted a news report on the Yeah Yeah Yeahs new album title, and now we're talking about Clap Your Hands Say Yeah 'taking a break'. Sorry, sorry, we'll get to the point of this news report now.
Yet again, a band has come out with a statement with the words "taking a break". When one hears these words, it usually doesn't bring about a nice outcome/future. So, when Clap Your Hands Say Yeah used those words yesterday, it's easy to understand now why we made the title of this article what it is.
However, according to management (and to possibly buy some time), Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have pushed back recording plans and don't have any shows organised post their Feb 13th gig at Brooklyn Academy of Music. But but but........they're not breaking up. Can you guess what they're doing? Yes. In the meantime, they're all working on side projects. Wow this seems like we've written this article repeatedly since we first began. We're going to copy paste this and just change the band name for future reference. Just saves us time.
Anyway, yeah.
