In 2008 we were talking about Led Zeppelin making a comeback. Is 2009 going to be the year everyone talks about and possibly remembers as the year Ziggy Stardust came back to Earth?
Music Universe hears that Sir David Bowie may be resurrected at the Coachella Festival this year.
The success of Roger Waters performing the complete 'Dark Side of the Moon' last year has lead Coachella organizers on a search for another event of that caliber for this year. Music Universe believes it is Bowie who they are talking too.
Only last week, David Bowie was back in the studio recording his first album in more than 5 years. Yes. Bowie. New album. You hear right. However, since the end of his world tour for 2003’s ‘Reality’ album, Bowie suffered a minor heart attack and has been out of the public eye ever since. It was only last week when he announced on social networking website 'Twitter' that he was recording in Berlin, the city where he made the ‘Low’, ‘Lodger’ and ‘Heroes’ albums. Ground control to Major Tom, Bowie looks like he is coming back!
Coachella whispers also suggest that Paul McCartney has also been tapped to headline one of the nights. We'll, as always, keep you in the know.
