'Roar Sounds' is the brand new series of live music events being held at the Royal Melbourne Zoo’s open-air arena. It will run every Thursday night in February.
Roar Sounds boasts an exciting time for live music, because so far it features a range of genres including hip-hop and garage rock and the rare freedom of BYO at a gig. It aslo gives one the chance to take a break from those smoke filled, sticky carpeted rooms to experiencing live music at one of the most adventurous places whilst basking in the summer warmth. This has to be said......lions and tigers and beers! Oh my!
February 19’s line-up is yet to be announced but from all the talk, these two bands will have you scrambling for a ticket.
Get in early at 5:30pm to check out the zoo’s inhabitants till 7pm. BYO food and drink (no glass besides wine bottles, please!) or buy it there. This event is all ages. Tickets on sale now through zoo.org.au or 1300 ZOOS VIC
