Well the rumours can finally be quashed. After months of ifs, buts, whens, Aussie rock legends ACDC have finally announced they will be returning to Australia in February 2010 for five mammoth arena shows as part of their Black Ice world tour.
It will be the first time since 2001 that Angus and the boys have brought their show dowunder and supporting them on their home soil dates will be Australia’s other rock monsters Wolfmother.
So, get ready to be thunderstruck in 2010 as you kick off the new year with a bang at the following shows:
February 11 – Melbourne, Australia – Etihad Stadium
February 18 – Sydney, Australia – ANZ Stadium
February 25 – Brisbane, Australia – Nathan Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre)
March 2 – Adelaide, Australia – Adelaide Oval
March 6 – Perth, Australia – Subiaco
Tickets will range from $99 to $149.90 with the band deliberately attempting to keep prices as low as possible.
Tickets go on sale Monday May 25th.
