Radiohead back in the studio for 8th album

Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood spoke to both NME and BBC this week, emphasising one thing and one thing only - Radiohead is back in the studio.

Speaking to NME, Greenwood explained “it’s really cool and everything is sounding great.” “It’s early days and it is a bit like having a scrapbook at the moment because everything is up in the air, but it’s good to be back in the studio.”

Greenwood spoke in a slightly more creative tone for BBC. “It’s at the stage where we’ve got the big Lego box out and we’ve tipped it out on the floor and we’re just looking at all the bits and thinking what’s next?”

Radiohead are playing at a couple of festivals in Europe this summer (winter time for you Aussie fans), but are yet to announce anything for Australia. It's been only 5 god dam long years since Radiohead toured Australia, and it seems not even a miracle will get them here. What's the deal with that? Kills us at Music Universe.

Anyway, Radiohead are still geniuses and the best. Time to buy a flight to Europe.

  1. Oh gosh, it is one of my goals in life to see Radiohead live. Honestly, they NEED to come to Australia. No idea why they won't. If they say it's something like global warming...

  2. On a lighter note, I'm super excited to see their eighth album. Saying that, it's amazing that they're still going strong after all these years.
