Tim Rogers (You Am I, Tex 'n' Tim, Temperance Union) is not only a musician, but an avid North Melbourne supporter (that's an AFL team for those of you from out of Australia).
North Melbourne are potentially going to move north, to Queensland, and we just can't have that. The good thing about this sporting predicament, however, is when one of Australia's most loved singers is such an avid supporter, he gets together with some of his best mates to do something about it.
At the Prince of Wales on November 29 in Melbourne, join The Wrights (Nic Cester of Jet, Kram of Spiderbait, Davey Lane of The Pictures/You Am I, Chris Cheney of The Living End and Pat from Dallas Crane), You Am I, Something For Kate, Tex Perkins, The Rockmount Five, Mick Thomas & Squeezebox Wally, Bouncer, Rob Clarkson, comics, guest speakers and DJ's.
Each band will play just a short set and all proceeds are going to the North Melbourne football club. So, whether you give a rats arse about football or not, how can you miss a line up like this?
Tickets are forty bucks and on sale now from the Prince Bandroom (http://www.princebandroom.com.au).
