Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan's had to cancel the band's European tour because what was reported earlier that he had severe gastroenteritis was actually in fact, a "low-grade malignant tumour."
The tumour was discovered in Gahan's bladder while in hospital after he collapsed just minutes before taking the stage at the band's Athens concert on 12 May.
good news though, the tumour has been successfully removed and Gahan is now under doctors' orders to rest.
An official statement released by the band read: "Dave Gahan sincerely thanks his fans for their support, understanding and patience. Depeche Mode deeply regret any problems or inconveniences the cancellations and postponements may have caused."
Get well soon Dave!
