The Dirty Projectors have been involved in a car accident. Thankfully, no one has been seriously injured.
According to a statement on their website the "Dirty Projectors' van flipped outside of Detroit, MI on their way up to Toronto. Although the crash was serious, we're happy to report that all members of the band have been safely discharged from the hospital. The band will be flying home to New York in the morning to regroup and rest. Unfortunately, the band will have to cancel Toronto and Montreal. Thank you for understanding and sending your well wishes."
The band have been on tour in support of their sensational new album 'Bitte Orca' (potential to be on Music Universe 'Best Albums of 2009' list) and are a little R&R, will continue across North America in July, and then head to Europe.
