Producers, Soul Highway, have organised for Jamie T and Stephen Malkmus (formed the band Pavement) to perform over the long weekend for this year's Wave Rock Weekender Festival
Soul Highway believe that the Wave Rock Weekender combines a quality blend of holiday, adventure, festival, party, pub, nature, escape and rest....i.e. totally sweet times!
Wave Rock Weekender leaves patrons with a euphoric experience thanks to the meaningful delivery of great music, incredible location, the spring weather, the salt pool, the positive environmental action and the connection you feel with the authentic Australian bush and the other discerning people around you.
Jamie T is about to release his first single off his new album 'Kings and Queens', titled 'Sticks n Stones'. Scheduled for an official release on June 29th, you can already hear snipets of it on sites such as hypem.com and even watch the music video for it on youtube. After releasing 2007 Mercury Prize nominated debut album 'Panic Prevention', Jamie T went on to win Best Solo Artists at the NME Shockwave Awards beating Jarvis Cocker and Thom Yorke. Let's hope he'll do some sideshows in conjunction with his appearance the festival.
