Another one off the 'Hype for 2009' Music Universe list earlier this year, is La Roux. Not only will they be performing at the Parklife festival touring across the nation, but they'll also be performing two intimate shows, one in Melbourne and the other, Sydney.
La Roux exceeded expectations as they unleashed their electro soundscape on the music world, affirming their place as this year’s brightest stars. La Roux's lead female singer, Elly Jackson is also known for her wild hair and sexy looks.
The release of La Roux’s critically acclaimed self-titled debut album saw them collect a Mercury Prize nomination and headline performances at some of the world’s greatest festivals.
