Them Crooked Vultures support Arctic Monkeys

We don't know why we're writing about this, it's probably because we're so god dam jealous.

Last night at the infamous Brixton Academy in London, Arctic Monkeys performed live. However, that's not the reason for our jealousy. The reason we're blowing smoke out of our ears is because newly formed supergroup Them Crooked Vultures (ft. QOTSA Josh Homme, Foo Fighter Dave Grohl and Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones) supported them. Can you imagine?

Josh Homme, of course, just produced the vast majority of Arctic Monkeys' new album 'Humbug' and is close friends with the band. Can you imagine?

Them Crooked Vultures are already in Europe and have performed surprise festival shows at Lowlands in Holland and Pukkelpop in Belgium over the past week. Can you imagine?

There is also growing speculation on forums that Them Crooked Vultures will be playing secret slots at the Reading and Leeds Festivals this weekend. Can you imagine?

Kills us. Music Universe are in talks about moving offices over to Europe immediately. There's a couple of minor hurdles to overcome first, for example CASH, so we've decided to form a fund for all our readers to donate too. We just can't come to grips with how much we miss out on over here in Australia. Please send your donations to jase@musicuniverse.com.au asap. We're desperate.
