
The first line-up for the annual Peats Ridge festival has been announced and it's looking mighty fine indeed.
The festival, which takes place from December 29, 2009 to January 1, 2010 in the breathtaking Glenworth Valley, is known for its lively atmosphere and friendly environment. This year, the ARIA Award winners The Panics, reggae-roots group Blue King Brown, Liam Finn and the always-inspiring Bertie Blackman.
Other artists on the bill include: Sarah Blasko, Whitley, Dappled Cities, Ash Grunwald, Leader Cheetah, Jeff Lang, Jack Ladder, Astronomy Class, Jen Cloher, Diafrix, Deepchild, The Bird, The Nomad, Mark Pritchard/Harmonic 313, The Tongue, The Jezabels, Tijuana Cartel, The Kin, Steve Poltz, Dead Letter Chorus, The Last Kinection, Declan Kelly, Circle Of Rhythm, Sherlock's Daughter, Spoonbill, Deep Street Soul, Zennith Boyz, Young Heretics, Thundamentals, Ghoul, The Bakery, Lions At Your Door and Ember Swift.
The second round of artists will be announced in November and the final release tickets will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at OzTix.
