Part-time member of Canadian indie group, Broken Social Scene, Feist is travelling downunder to support the Laneway festival and perform some sideshows of her own.
Feist has produced two albums and collaborated with the likes of Peaches and Kings Of Convenience in the past, but more recently is known for her solo album - The Reminder - released earlier this year. It was this album which took Feist to another level. The album features "1234", which was co-written by Australia's New Buffalo singer - Sally Seltmann. It was a surprise hit to Feist, but not to others, as it was picked up by Apple and used for its Ipod Nano commercials. Other notable songs on the album included "I Feel It All" and "My Moon My Man", which will no doubt be highlights of her gigs.
Looking forward to seeing you Ms. Feist. Maybe we wil lsee you at Broken Social Scene's gigs too!!
Along with the Laneway festival shows, Feist will be performing:
Tuesday 26 February - Prince of Wale, Melbourne VIC
Friday 29 February - Metro Theatre, Sydney NSW
