Moby set to release 'Last Night'

'Last Night' will be Moby's sixth studio album. He calls the album "a love letter to dance music in New York City. What I love about the New York approach to dance music is the eclecticism and the open-mindedness on the part of the musicians, the djs and the people in the bars and clubs."

The concept behind 'Last Night' is condense a night in NYC down to an hour. In making 'Last Night', Moby says "I essentially tried to make a long 8 hour night out in NYC and condense it into a 65 minute long album."

The album was recorded at Moby's home studio in Manhattan. Guests included 70's MC Grandmaster Caz, who was one of the writers on 'Rapper's Delight', Sylvia from Kudu, UK MC Aynzli and the Nigerian 419 Squad.

'Last Night' will be released on March 10th, 2008. There is a special free christmas download of some of his album at moby.com.
