
The Decemberists frontman Colin Meloy is gearing up to release a live solo EP this spring.
'Colin Meloy Sings Live!' is due out in the US on April 8 and features 17 tracks performed during his 2006 solo acoustic tour.
Included on the album are snippets of covers of songs by REM, The Smiths and Pink Floyd, among others. It also includes solo renditions of songs from Meloy's first band, Tarkio as well as the The Decemberists.
The album, which will be released in CD format as well as gatefold double vinyl, also features two previously unreleased tracks, 'Dracula's Daughter' and 'Wonder'.
