The Police are in Melbourne today for the reunion tour. It is an interesting city for the band to return to as the last official gig they had as a band was in Melbourne in 1984.
They turned out to be correct and Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland headed home after their Melbourne show and a messy break-up.
It took 23 years to heal the wounds, although there they did regroup for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
The Police were a band who never failed. They only made five albums, every one was a hit. The band broke up at the peak of its career with 'Synchroncity' in 1983.
Here's the setlist for the reunion tour show.
