The Prodigy collaborate with Grohl on their 'Invaders Must Die' album

After being announced for the Big Day Out last month, and locked in for sideshows in Sydney and Brisbane, The Prodigy have now unveiled details of their highly anticipated new album 'Invaders Must Die', which is set for release in Australia on February 28, 2009.

The UK electronica outfit’s fifth studio LP will be their first on their new independent label Take Me To The Hospital. To date The Prodigy have sold in excess of 16 million albums throughout their extensive career, and their previous albums have spawned a plethora of genre defining singles, including Outer Space, Firestarter, Voodoo People and Smack My Bitch Up.

'Invaders Must Die' is expected to be a welcome return to form for the trio, with Liam Howlett joined by longtime collaborators Keith Flint and Maxim for the first time since their 1997 album 'Fat Of The Land'. In some amazing news, it's also been confirmed that the album will feature several guest appearances, including Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and James Rushent of Does It Offend You, Yeah? Sweet sweet sweet!

The Prodigy tour Australia early in 2009 with the Big Day Out and sideshows.
