If you remember a few days ago we announced that The Vines have cancelled all scheduled tour commitments including their spot at Pyramid Rock Festival. Well that slot has now been filled by triple j 'album of the year' winners - The Panics.
The Perth lads are currently on the road for their last theatre shows of 2008, still living off their wide-reaching success of 'Cruel Guards'. They reasserted their festival poweress at Splendour In The Grass in August, apparently getting one of the weekend’s strongest receptions. Check out their video here. We can only expect the same level of awesomeness at Pyramid Rock.
Pyramid Rock festival is on at Phillip Island from 29th Dec. - 1st Jan.
The Panics will be joining the likes of The Living End, The Black Keys, Cut Copy, Fat Freddy's Drop, Midnight Juggernauts, Digitalism, Birds of Tokyo, Muph and Plutonic, Ladyhawke, Bob Evans, Frightened Rabbit, The Mess Hall and so many more goodies.
