Bob Evans (aka Kevin Mitchell from Jebediah) has just recorded his third album. It seems it might be significantly different to his first two.
"By the time the beginning of this year rolled around and I was looking at going in to the studio I was kind of sick of singer songwriters. And I started getting really paranoid. Like every time I saw a guy with an acoustic guitar singing his heart out I just thought shit that's me!"
When asked about 'Good Night Bull Creek', Mitchell had this to say about the heavier sounds that might appear. "I played a lot of electric guitar. Every time the tender guy came out I just stepped on the distortion and went shut up!"
Bob Evans will play a bunch of shows in around the country in November.
'Good Night Bull Creek' is due next April.
