The Cinematic Orchestra are coming to Australia in January 2009

With an immersive live show to match its landmark albums, The Cinematic Orchestra is sweeping onto our shores in January 2009.

The UK collective, headed by composer Jason Swinscoe, traverses jazz, soul, funk and electronica in its wide-ranging compositions. Its line-up is malleable, with various vocalists and instrumentalists weighing in on each record. They have teamed up with the likes of Fontella Bass, Lou Rhodes and even Patrick Watson in the past. Over countless tours, TCO has finessed its performances to a point that no two are the same.

Expect unbelievableness. Also, if you can get your hands on the album 'Ma Fluer', do so now!

Only one Australian show has been confirmed so far, at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Tuesday 20 January. Sydney and Adelaide shows are still to come, so watch this space.
