Hot off the press is that Franz Ferdinand will be touring Australia on the back of their festival appearances.
They will be joined on tour by The Cribs. The UK alt-rock heroes are visiting Australia to promote new album 'Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever' – and they’re bringing Johnny Marr with them! The young and fresh act Red Riders will be warming the stage at both dates.
Franz Ferdinand plan on releasing their latest album 'Tonight' come January 26th, so one should expect to hear a lot of new stuff at their show.

*In other news, King of Leon were meant to be headlining Big Day Out with Neil Young and Arctic Monkeys, but negotiations fell through and will be shortly announcing their own tour. Expect arenas to be the venues they play at considering how 'Stadium Rock' they've become.
